Massive Primitive Log Cabinet, Scandinavia, c. 1700s
A cabinet hewn from a single massive log, with a hinged front panel of two plank doors and original iron strap hardware. The rounded, organic body retains all the character of the raw material it came from. Entirely hand-made, with no two surfaces alike. Scandinavian, c. 18th century.
