Wabi Sabi Antique Primitive Table, Pillar Log Legs, Scandinavia, c 1600s

Primitive table crafted from a single solid plank dating back to the 1600s/1700s, with a hand-hewn underside. The piece stands on two pillar log feet, originally used as structural supports under old Scandinavian storehouses or similar buildings from the 1700s/1800s. The legs have been adapted for stability and height while retaining their original character. A true wabi sabi piece with visible age, wear and old surface.
